Andrew... If you havent bought tix for wakewest yet dont bother. I just found out I cant go.. at all. The head chef decided to take his vacation time over that weekend. So since I am the most competent there I'll have to work friday saturday and sunday nights. Since I no longer need mine I could sell you it... otherwise I could sell it to greg. look an update.
what to say. Well lets just talk about the last little while. first thing. damn greeks, damn portuguese. crazy ass soccer fans. When portugal got into the finals for the eurocup commercial drive went nuts. In fact it shut down for about 10 minutes. They started a parade up the drive (apparently it was 4 blocks long). And right infront of bouzyos, where I work they decided to turn around. Meaning no cars could get through until the whole thing changed direction. Then the greeks got in. John (bouzyos owner) decided to give out free pork chops for everyone watching the game at the restaurant. Fun. It was fairly busy. Greece won and the restaurant emptied on the street and the greeks celebrated their advancement. this was on canada day. I think I saw 2 Canadian flags all day lol. There was also a war protest. At one point greeks were celebrating driving down one side of the drive while the protesters were marching down the others. I found that humourous. Saturday was a busy day. I was running my ass off in the kitchen all night. I was hurting after wards. I came home and had a beer. I didnt realize how tired my body was until I sat down. It was an effort to raise that beer to my mouth. Then I headed off to bed. I slept not to well and awoke with my back still hurting. And went directly to work. It was very busy..and I was alone, for the most part. I also had tons of prep. During the game John did the pork chop thing again... Casey (head chef)was there watchng the game and he help during that part. There was noone else to come intho.. they were all either working somewhere else or watching the game. Afetr greece won the cup again the retaurant emptied to celebrate. Commercial drive pretty much shut down again. Casey went with them. After just enough time for my adenaline from the first rush to wear off (so any aches were being felt again) I started to get busy again. Last thing I had done was move a 50 pond box. I knew something was wrong after awhile and knew I wouldnt be able to keep going like I was. I tried a couple times to get a waitress to find Casey for me. I knew I needed help. A short while later my whole back spasmed and I hit the floor. Casey came in seconds later (I guess someone finally decided to go get him). John and some regulars set up[ some chairs for me to lie on. An ambulance was called, tho they never came. John saw it go by tho. I phoned Erin to let her know what was going on and what might happen. She came to up And wited for the non arriving ambulance with me. Then after awhile I was eased into my car and Erin drove me home. Where I laid down for pretty much the rest of the day. Erin takes good care of me. I love her. No work today was decided and I called work to let them know I dint think I'd be able to work last night. Today after not sleeping well again I awoke in discomfort again. So yeah I wouldve just made myself worse by working today. I rescheduled my chirpractor from wed. night to this morning. He Gave me some adjustments.. which hurt the worst since I first started seeing him. He gave me some advice and I'm seeing him again wed. morning. My last appointment went so well to. We were talking about having appointments every month and a half to 2 months, instead of monthly.. Now I'm seeing him twice in one week. Afetr my appointement I went for a walk on his instructions. So I went to the bank and paroused some stores. I boughts erin and I some presents :). The phone was ringing when I got home. It was erin. Seems she has some presents to. So last Night I went to Foxfest. It's a local music festival put on by the "alt-rock" music station, basically to help promote the local bands that they choose to be on their yearly seeds cd. It was being held at Plaza of nations. A great outdoor venue. Offspring were headlining with the first seeds band on at 430. There were five seeds bands, the mainstage bands, besides Offspring, were Bif Naked, Billy Talent, The Trews, and The Start, from last to first. I'm having a problem. I recently bought postal 2, just to find out I needed a new video card in order to run it. Which Ive done. So I tried to play it and I got a fatal error. I cleared up some room and found the new drivers for the card online and installed them. after doing this the game worked. Today i tried to play again and, it either would crash and exit or gives me fatals again. Any ideas what the problem might be? On a more humourous note, I played an evil practical joke on one of the waitresses (tasha) today. I was cutting tomoatos and tasha came into the kitchen to organize the dishes (she was bored), and I made 2 loud chopping noises turned and said "oh shit I just chopped off my finger!", then threw a piece of tomato (which I had palmed) in her direction. she freaked out and I had a good laugh. she hit me (i deserved it), and was laughing a bit later. | | Friday, January 16th, 2004 | | 12:27 am |

I'm really proud of ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) nomadzutroy for her post. This has been something thats been bugging her, and me. for a long time. I feel the same way. For those of you that dont know whats this is about, all I'm gonna say in public is that He owes us a substantial amout of money for a long time. If you want more details feel free to ask. If you ask him, come and ask us too, I cant trust him to give the straight answer. Its really hard to be friends with someone you cant trust. I'm tired of the lies and the excuses. We are completely broke and stressed about it. Yes we did just go on vacation, got a new bed and a new tv. They were all planned for. The vacation was planned for months, and erins friends and family were expecting us. And we budgeted for it. What we were over came out of the money for the bed. The money from the bed.. those in the know can guess where I got that. And I needed it badly due to my back. The Tv was free with the bed. I cant go to the where i got the money for the bed, for bills. I have to look responsible, otherwise I could be fucked. Ive wanted to yell and scream for months. But I kept being at a loss for words. Ive never been so mad I couldnt say anything before. And for so long. It will take alot to repair the damage thats been done. And I'm sorry for it. Ive lost something I desperately needed. That need blinded me. And I'm not talking about the money.
